The mixcontrol is a very powerful tool that you can use whether you want to use the audio interface in live venue or inside your recording studio. It commands the hardware inputs and outputs of your audio interface. As mentioned before the problem could be you are not using the same sample rate, or your output in protools is not set to the same channel as your output in mixcontrol. As far as I can tell mixcontrol is the actual driver/controller for it. so i think its a problem with how things are set up in this mix control software but i dont know how to fix it and there is no manual. Personally I have no complaints with 2.2, but I always feel I'm missing something if I don't. I've tried the upgrades to 2.4 and 3.0 and for various reasons I always switched back to 2.2. I've been running Mixcontrol 2.2 and standard Win 7 (not legacy) firewire drivers. first of all my gear is routed as follows: Finally got my focusrite 2i2 interface and am loving it. I know there are a lot of Saffire users here. So i just purchased the saffire pro 40 and a bunch of new gear and i think i'm having some trouble with the saffire mix controll software used to run the interface.
